Let's take a trip back to the 90s,where a lot of support would be required and would most likelymake you look like a clown among peers if such topic is brought up. We'll certainly not in this century anyway. Most PC's although are more capable of gaming provided the PC is free from viruses and have a decent installation. But if you feel your PC is below the average gaming specs then there's a few steps here you can use to turn that crappy PC into a PC capable of gaming without breaking the bank..

•Determine you OS
The first thing to do is make sure you are running Windows 7or higher as older operating systems like Windows XP or Vista no longer have the capability to run new games or even support new hardware. Now don't get me wrong, Windows XP is not a bad OS if you plan on playing games like pinball or the likes. But if you want to go after the games coming forth this days then you definitely need to upgrade.

•Upgrade your Ram
About 6gb of ram should be ok. Before buying extra ram do make sure to check the amount you already have installed. Having 4gb or less will require you to get extra for gameplay

•**Upgrading your Graphics card (GPU)
This happens to be the most important part of PC gaming. A higher GPU will allow you play games on mid to high settings and even ultra settings too.

Well that happens to be the fundamentals on turning almost any PC into a gaming PC. You can actually find better parts and components than the ones listed here but based on my experience with PC games these will do just fine. Also Make sure your PC is free of viruses by downloading a free version of AVG anti virus.. Hope this guide helped alot
