With the recent launch of 4G LTE network by Ntel in Nigeria, more and more telecommunications company are releasing their own 4G network..This act was started by Ntel, which was followed by Mtn then Glo and their super cheap data plans and then Etisalat. The most recent of them all which is etisalat is currently available only in Lagos..
On the plus side, having a 4G LTE network promises super fast internet browsing and downloading, chatting, video streaming and many more. But the downside to this is aside the network providing cheap data plans,it doesn't work on all devices even in some 4G enabled device. Each network comes with a different bandwidth and so does each 4G enabled device which definitely means for your device to use the 4G network of a particular carrier your device has to correspond with their bandwidth..
In this post,we outline devices that support the 4G networks in Nigeria... First are the bandwidth of each network
NTEL:Band 3(1800) and Band 8(900)MHz
MTN:Band 7(2600) and Band 20(800)MHz
GLO:Band 28(700)MHz
ETISALAT:LTE and Band 3(1800)MHz
To use any of this networks then you need to possess any of the following devices
